Windows leak like crazy

Water runs into stucco. Who would do work like this ?

> > HELP! >

> We just had our porch redone and windows installed in place of screens. We live in Florida and water was coming in through the screen windows and seeping between the stucco walls which began to bow and crack. We decided to redo the porch with glass windows and removed all the old stucco and wood. Once the porch was rebuilt and windows installed we had the stucco guy come over. The stucco has been applied with a raised trim around the exterior windows. The problem is we are not sure if they put the stucco on right. We have a wood frame porch. >

> 2) They put the Protecto wrap sealing tape around the windows and the French doors. >

> 3) They put the black paper with the screen mesh attached to it all around but did not cover the window sealing tape completely. >

> 4) Then put the white plastic for the raised trim, around the windows and doors, on top of the wire mesh. This left a gap in some areas between the window and the wall and the door and the frame about 1/4 inch which corresponds to the width of the mesh. >

> 5) Then they stuccoed. In some areas there is no gap at all and the stucco is flush with the window frame in other areas there is a gap. >

> We think that they didn't put the white plastic frame close enough to the window to prevent gaps. Can you give us your opinion? I've sent two pictures. One is a view of the French doors and windows and teh other is a close up of the window frame with the white plastic trim and wire mesh exposed. >

This is terrible. Who could do work like this ? Water is running down the window into the wall.

A window sill cut into the wall below the window would deflect water out away from the gap. The gaps on the side can be filled with another material.

This is completely illogical and I don't understand the mentality of someone who would do work like this.
