A little caulk and paint will make it what it ain't.

I live in the Tucson AZ area and on the back of my house were the stucco meets the roof under the eves there is missing stucco. It looks like the house may have twisted or settled a little and some of the stucco has came out

My question is should I put a flexible caulking in and then put some stucco patch on and then paint or just use stucco patch and paint. The areas are about 2 to 6 inches long and about 1/4 to 1/2 inches wide. There are about 10 of them and a couple a little larger around where the roof beams come out to make to soffit .

We use DAP stucco patch for wide cracks and gaps. It has sand in it, and doesn't look too bad after it has been painted.
