Does water wick up ?
I used to believe bulging stucco at the bottom of the wall was caused by water wicking up. I discovered another reason.

Is it possible that water wicks up this high ?
We fix a lot of bulges at the bottom of the wall. I used to beleive the damage was caused by water wicking up.

The bottom saturates and water filters out slowly.
Either way, the best solution is to leave a gap at the bottom
